What can I say about this? It does exactly what it is supposed to do. Sharpens a manual pencil into a fine point. It works great, doesn’t make a ton of noise, and is relatively compact. So everything’s cool right? WRONG! If you’re spending money on an electric sharpener, I would highly suggest you to go buy one which doesn’t work on just batteries. Keep in mind that these 4 AA batteries have to power a motor, and they run out quickly, especially if you use the sharpener a lot. So my advice for you is to try and find something that is battery powered and portable like this, however, it can also be charged with a power cord. I believe Imikas also sells one like that, but it’s a little more expensive. I would buy that rather than have to constantly change batteries. Even if you have rechargeable batteries, like myself, it’s still a pain to have to take them out, charge them up for 12 hours, and then put them back in.
