For my project, I did a video summarizing the Sun Also Rises. For the movie, I used the movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, in which 3 freinds decide to go on a bachelor trip to spain. You can read the wikipedia page, or even watch the movie on Netflix (its hilarious) and see that it has absolutely nothing to do with The Sun Also Rises. Your open genre project was very entertaining. I looked up the movie and I liked how the movie doesn't relate to the novel at all and yet you connected the scenes to the book very well, to the point that I almost believed it was Bollywood version of The Sun Also Rises. The music selection was entertaining, although it doesn't seem to fit Jake's tone and personality. Nevertheless, watching the video did produce a lot of laughs.
ReplyDeleteThe music was suppose to be the irony. Jake is a calm person, but the way I read him, it was that he was calm in front of others. But what would he do if nobody was around him at all, or if he was just talking to himself without thinking of the judgement of others? Keeping that in mind, I selected a more strong music for the SECOND part. If you heard, the first part was a soft and slow type of music.
